Welcome to the March e-newsletter for 2010!

There are a number of things to look forward to at the Hotel in March. Everybody’s favourite Irish day is being celebrated, we have new menus, and we are about to begin a new renovation project! Details on all of these can be found further on in the newsletter.

A new Pizza menu has just launched at Fern Hill Hotel, with fantastic traditional Italian pizzas to be enjoyed either in Foxy’s Pub or as take aways. With pizzas starting from only R32, everyone can afford to enjoy the freshest, tastiest pizzas in the Midlands from Thursdays to Saturdays.
In addition, on Thursdays you can get a 30cm margherita pizza for only R15! This offer is not available as a take-away.

On Monday 08 March is International Women’s Day. To celebrate, Fern Hill will be offering a 10% discount off every woman’s lunch time meal in the Snooty Fox Restaurant or Foxy’s Pub. For more information or to make a booking please contact our Reception on 033 330 5071.

Wednesday 17 March is St. Patrick’s Day and Fern Hill will be celebrating it with green beer and bar specials! Be sure not to miss this special day when everybody is Irish, even if you were born in Pofadder. Draught beers will be on special for R10, Guinness will be half price and there will be Irish music and numerous specials on pizzas and bar snacks.

Many guests have already had the pleasure of dining on the deck at Fern Hill Hotel and we are pleased to announce that we will be adding onto this much loved part of the hotel. On 17 March we will begin construction of a thatched roof which will cover the entire deck but remain open at the sides. This will allow for outdoor dining no matter what the weather. In addition, the Orange Tree Coffee Shop will be moving out and onto the deck! This means that guests will be able to enjoy Lavazza coffees and the Orange Tree menu on the deck, every day.

Easter is on Sunday 04 April and Fern Hill will be hosting a family carvery Sunday Lunch. The carvery will include a multitude of roasts and enough desserts to keep sweet-toothed people happy for hours. In addition, all guests will receive homemade Easter eggs on arrival. Booking is HIGHLY advised as the Sunday Carvery is ordinarily completely booked out before the weekend even begins.
