Can you believe that the year is finished? It’s December already and before we know it we’ll all be welcoming in 2012 – let’s hope that the Mayans were wrong!

Our famous Christmas Day Carvery is fully booked! It’s not surprising really, as we cannot think of any other venue in the Midlands that offers as much as we do on this special day. We look forward to welcoming every one of you in person.

Fern Hill Hotel’s famous Christmas Day Carvery has sold out in record time. We opened bookings during October and this is the fastest that we have ever sold out, with the last table of four being snapped up during the final week of November. For those of you on the ball and who managed to book with us, we’re looking forward to sharing Christmas Day with you and your family! If you were hoping to join us but just didn’t make it in time, then why not join us for Christmas Eve of Boxing Day?

There are still places available for the Christmas Eve dinner carvery and for the Boxing Day lunch carvery. The cost for each of these carveries is R150 per person, R140 for pensioners and R100 for children under the age of eleven. Furthermore, the New Year’s Day lunch time carvery still has places available; the price is R140 per person, R110 for pensioners and R90 for children under the age of eleven. Please note that Fern Hill Hotel’s Snooty Fox Restaurant will be open for à la carte dinners on New Year’s Eve. We're very proud to announce that Cat Simoni will be performing her cabaret show "The Girl From Somewhere" right in our very own Fern Theatre!

All pensioners will receive a 10% discount off their total bill every lunchtime on Tuesday. What’s more, there is no service charge for pensioner tables of less than five people.

The newly developed Pizza menu is available from Thursdays to Saturdays at Fern Hill Hotel. In addition, every Thursday is Pizza Special Day, with a large (30cm) Margherita pizza for only R18! This offer is for eat-in only, and guests may choose to dine on the deck, in the restaurant or in the pub. This special is proving to be very popular, so booking is recommended: 033 330 5071.

Every Friday night, apart from the amazing music provided by Derrick and Jeff, you can enjoy an extensive prawn menu in the Snooty Fox restaurant. Our Restaurant Manageress and Executive Chef have designed the menu to appeal to a variety of tastes and budgets. We’ve brought in a new supplier for our prawns so you can dine on deliciously fresh queen prawns every Friday! There’s live music every Friday night in the Snooty Fox at Fern Hill Hotel. The music creates an atmosphere second to none, so come and enjoy some relaxing, live entertainment with family and friends. Of course, the fact that the food we serve is amazing also helps!
