The Snooty Fox

Features & Facilities

If you haven’t experienced the outstanding cuisine, service, and wine at the Snooty Fox, your lives are a little poorer for it. Chef Alex Poltera and his team of talented and dedicated chefs will ensure your tastes are catered for at every juncture. This restaurant is a real foodie experience that boasts an impressive and dynamic à la carte menu that runs from 12:00 to 21:30 every day, seven days a week. The success of this restaurant is in our chefs keeping abreast of new and exciting flavours, recipes, and trends; it’s also in their making everything from scratch. From the ice creams and sorbets to our breads and burger buns, all is created in our kitchen. Focusing on fresh, seasonal produce and supporting local is of the utmost importance.

Leading the way in vegan dishes; producing the best curries in the region; creating melt-in-your-mouth gourmet burgers; spectacular and delectable desserts…you won’t leave disappointed.

The Snooty Fox Restaurant itself is romantic and cosy with an old world charm that is rarely seen today. Think crystal chandelier, booth seats, fresh flowers on the tables, ornate stained-glass, and a large fireplace. If this is not your style, there is a relaxed addition of a thatched deck where one can find a more casual dining experience. The garden is also a fantastic spot to sip on expertly made cappuccinos while indulging on a fresh cream scone, Salted Caramel Blondie Bar, or decadent chocolate brownie covered in chocolate ganache. Those in the know enjoy sitting under our lemon trees or out in the sunshine either by themselves, with friends and family, or with their dogs. And the kids? There’s a secure play area for them to run riot, fondly known as the ‘pit of neglect’.

The Snooty Fox has an excellent wine list that caters for all budgets and has been awarded Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Diners Club awards over the years. The Snooty Fox at Fern Hill Hotel has a number of specials throughout the week that are not to be missed.
